Car Rental Agreement

User The renter of the vehicle shall be considered as the user. All transactions will be executed between the user and Rent My Car.
Age The user must be above the age of 18 years.
Mobile Number The user must provide a local mobile number for communication and security purposes. This number shall be verified through the one time verification process. Once a mobile number is verified and registered with an account, it can only be updated/changed by contacting the Help Desk.
International Users International users, who cannot provide a local number for verification purposes, should send for an account creation/activation request on info@rentmycar.pk by stating their Full Name (as per Passport), Passport Image and their international Mobile Number. The Help Desk shall create an account, email user their account details along with an account verification link.
Documents Required
  1. The user must have a valid National Identification Number (NIC) issued by the Government of Pakistan for rental.
  2. For rentals on self-drive,   The user must have a valid Driving License issued by the Government of Pakistan or an International Driving License (for foreigners)
  3. If due to an incomplete or an inaccurate verification Help Desk will prompt the user to submit correct details. In that case, the user must scan their NIC, Passport or Driving License (whichever is applicable) and Email/ it on info@rentmycar.pk. Alternately, the user can also Whatsapp an image on +92-3000-562762, mentioned their email address.
  4. The user may be asked to verify their identity with a valid NIC/Passport/Driving License at the start of the rental.
  5. If a user is unable to verify his/her identity, the confirmed booking shall be considered void and any service charges applied shall be retained by Rent My Car as per its cancellation policy
  6. For subscription to corporate account, the company/business must have a valid National Tax Number (NTN)
Pricing The displayed rental price on RMC portal includes: Driver Charges, Taxes, Vehicle Insurance Charges, Service Fee, Road-Side Assistance and 24/7 Online Support
Cash On Delivery
  1. Rent My Car allows users to pay via Cash on Delivery at the end of each rental, directly to the driver, who will also inform you of your additional charges of fuel, over-time, over-mileage and out-station travel (if any and where applicable).
  2. If a confirmed booking is cancelled, Rent My Car will charge the user as per its cancellation policy. Charges will be applicable on the next booking and multiple repeat offenses will result in removal from the site, along with possible legal action.
  3. For long term rentals (rentals lasting more than a calendar day), the bill shall be settled on daily basis with the driver. However, the system will update and generate the invoice at the end of the total rental duration.
Online Transfer Rent My Car also allows users to pay by Bank transfer via ATM and online transfer. Users wanting to opt for this mode of payment must provide their bank details by updating their dashboards payments section. In case, a user is unable to do this, Help Desk will contact you for these, prior to the start of the rental. Failure to provide these will result in cancellation of the booking with immediate effect. A 2% surcharge (or With Holding Tax in case of corporate account holder) will be added, that is also reflected on every trip invoice generated by the system in user dashboard. For companies, that choose to pay via bank transfer, will be settled at the end of each month for all completed transactions, as per the Expense Report in user dashboard. Users are advised to email their transfer confirmation to info@rentmycar.pk or WhatsApp an image of ATM transfer confirmation to Help Desk (+92-3000-562762)
Pick-Up Points The user can request for pick-up from anywhere within city limits. For self-drive rentals, the pick-up point will be coordinated via Help Desk
Pick-Up
Wait Time
Rentals requested for the same calendar day will have a wait of 2 hours. Rentals requested for future calendar days will not have a wait time.
Pick-Up Hours Rentals requested for the same calendar day will only be entertained between 10 am and 9 pm. Therefore, pick-up hours for same day rentals need to be between these otherwise the request will be cancelled.
Drop-Off Time, Hours and Points The user can request for drop-off to anywhere within city limits, at any time during the day.
Rental Period/
Over Time Charges
The rental period for daily rentals is 10 hours. This period commences half an hour prior to the start of the pick-up time and concludes half an hour after the drop-off time. If the rental duration exceeds the daily limit of 10 hours, over-time will be additionally charged (car dependent as mentioned in the booking form under important notes) and added to the final invoice. The rental period for long-term and monthly rentals is flexible.
Fuel Policy Fuel cost to be borne by the user. User will have to handover the vehicle with the same amount of fuel which was provided at the time of pickup. A penalty of PKR 200 will be levied if the user requests the driver to refill the tank by themselves.
Mileage Limit/ Over Mileage Charges
Rent My Car provides a distance limit of 10 Km/hour or 100 Km per day for all types of rentals (daily, long-term and monthly). If the total distance travelled during the journey exceeds the distance limit, an additional surcharge (car dependent as mentioned in the booking form under important notes) will be levied for every extra kilometer travelled.


Outstation Rentals/
Charges
If a user decides to take a car outside of the city limits, outstation charges will be applied in addition to the displayed prices on per day basis (car dependent as mentioned in the booking form under important notes).  For vehicles taken outstation, there is no mileage and time limit for the desired rental duration but the user will be responsible for driver food and accommodation
Self  Drive Rentals Are available to Corporate Account holders, their employees or users who meet our requirements for weekly, monthly and long-term rentals. An additional charge for vehicle delivery and pick-up is levied at PKR 1,500 that includes base fuel for user convenience.
Additional Charges
  1. Applied for fuel as per fuel policy mentioned above (Fuel Charges)
  2. Applied in case the user retains the vehicle beyond the rental period as mentioned above (Over Time Charges)
  3. Applied in case where user goes above the daily mileage limit as mentioned above (Over Mileage Charges)
  4. Applied in case user cancels a confirmed booking within 2 hours prior to the start of rental (Cancellation Policy)
Taxes All charges, as per contract, are inclusive of Sales Tax (and With Holding Tax where applicable). Toll tax and other charges will be borne by the user.
Extension of Rental Period If the user wishes to extend the rental period, they can contact Help Desk and the booking will be extended accordingly. pricing and charges will be applied as mentioned above.
Replacement Vehicle Rent My Car shall provide a replacement vehicle in the case of vehicle failure. This is subject to vehicle availability
Cleanliness and Damage Rent My Car does not permit the user to take on board objectionable items such as weapons or any sharp object which may soil or cause damage to the upholstery or the exterior of the vehicle. An additional surcharge of 20% will be levied on the cost of repair or cleaning the vehicle. Please read our Terms & Conditions and Policies for further information.
Account Validation Rent My Car does not allow multiple accounts having the same mobile number, NIC, Passport and Driving License. In such cases, Rent My Car reserves the right to cancel any booking made by a multiple account holder. If a blocked user is found to have made a booking, the booking will be automatically cancelled. All cancellation charges will apply. A user can be blocked in event of  behavior which falls outside of our community guidelines, having more than 3 instances of bogus bookings along with a breach in our Terms & Conditions and Policies.
